General note

The Raging Grannies (or just "Raging Grannies") are social justice activist organizations of women old enough to be grandmothers, who dress up in clothes that mock stereotypes of older women, and sing songs at protests in Canada, the USA and other countries. They typically write the lyrics to the songs themselves, putting their political messages to the tunes of well known songs, and their activism also includes peace and environmental causes.
