Martin Rázus Council of Slovak Protestants (Ústredna Rada Martina Rázusa v Zahraničí)

This sub-subseries consists of correspondence and accompanying material between L'udovit Kandra within his various functions in the Slovak National Council Abroad (Slovenská národná rada v zahraničí) (SNRvZ)) and Michal Zibrín and other officers relating to the activities and administration of the Martin Rázus Council of Slovak Protestants (Ústredna Rada Martina Rázusa v Zahraničí). It contains correspondence, including letters and postcards, a mandate, proposed statutes, an administrative report, an official memorandum, declarations, position papers, meetings' minutes, black and white photographs, newspaper clippings, proceedings and debates of the 84th Congress published in Congressional Record.

Documents, 1950-1954

This sub-subseries consists of documents relating to the Slovak National Council Abroad (Slovenská Národná Rada v Zahraničí) (SNRvZ)'s administration, constitution, membership, meetings, commissions, committees, bulletin and correspondence sent and received by L'udovit Kandra within his various Slovak National Council Abroad's functions to other officers between 1950 and 1954. It contains statutes, draft of texts from individuals and SNRvZ's Constitution Working Group, notes, a proclamation, programs, position papers, meetings' minutes, form letters, letters, secretary's reports, lists of candidates, receipts, issues 1-2 of the SNRvZ's Bulletin, a black and white photograph and newspaper clippings.

This sub-subseries consists of documents relating to the statutes, constitution, membership, commission and correspondence sent and received by L'udovit Kandra within his various Slovak National Council Abroad (Slovenská národná rada v zahraničí) (SNRvZ)'s functions to other officers during 1954-1955 and 1957-1958. They contain an aerogramme, meetings' minutes, statutes, agreements, a secretary's report, an invoice, receipts, newspaper clippings from Katolickí Sokol, lists of candidates, an address, letters and a postcard.

Satan proti Bohu

This novel was first published as a series in Slovenská Obrana, between 1951-1952. This major work was later published as a book, thanks to financial contributions collected on the occasion of the Canadian Slovak League (CSL)'s 50th anniversary: Satan proti Bohu, Toronto, Kanadská Slovenská Liga, 1983. This file contains manuscripts, revisions and newspaper clippings.

This novel was first published as a series in the bi-weekly Slovenská Obrana in 1960 and in book form by Prvá Katolícka Slovenská, Jednota in Cleveland, Ohio in 1974.

Za morom

This sub-subseries consists of background information collected by Ľudovit Kandra's for the writing of the intended novel Za morom. It contains newspaper clippings, notes, pamphlets and a letter.

Rozkvitnútá jabloň

This collection of short stories was not published as a separate work. It contains 20 pieces, most of which have been published in periodicals, almanachs and annuals. Publication information has been taken from holograph notes appearing on many of the manuscripts and/or from a list of publications included by the author.

SNRvZ correspondence, 1948-1949, 1950-1955

This sub-subseries consists of correspondence sent and received by L'udovit Kandra within his various fuctions in the National Slovak Council Abroad (Slovenská národná rada v zahraničí) (SNRvZ) between 1948 and 1956 relating to various subjects, among others, the SNRvZ's internal affairs, Martin Razus Council of Slovak Protestants (Ústredna Rada Martina Rázusa v Zahraničí), the publication of the Slovak Newsletter, the Slovak Evangelical Church and the National Committee of Hungarians of Czechoslovakia. It contains letters, comments, newspaper clippings, cards with salutations, postcards, an air-mail post card, papers, certificates of Post Office registration, a Martin Razus Council of Slovak Protestants' public declaration, notes, business cards, number 21 of the Internationaler Juristenkongress Press Information, a speech, an agreement, telegrams and volume 1, number 1-2 of the Committee of Hungarians of Czechoslovakia's communiqué Under the double yoke.

SNRvZ officers - Documents

This sub-subseries consists of documents relating to various Slovak National Council Abroad (Slovenská národná rada v zahraničí) (SNRvZ))'s officers Konštantin Čulen, Vandolín S. Plátek and Milan Jakubec on various subjects, among others, the publication of the newspapers Kanadský Slovák and the SNRvZ's newsletter and the Slovak Legion's internal affairs. It contains letters, newspaper clippings, notes, a bulletin, Slovak Legon's short biography, rules, blank membership forms, papers, 35th anniversary of Milan R. Štefánik death's list of acknowledgements and testimonies and a black and white photograph of Slovak Legion's members participating at the 1955 Canadian National Exhibition.
