The fonds consists of photographs taken by Rosenfeld of the 1970 abortion rights march organized by the Vancouver Women's Caucus. The march marked the beginning of a campaign that would later travel across Canada as the Abortion Caravan, ending in a large protest in Ottawa. Rosenfeld became interested in the Vancouver Women’s Caucus through her friend Ellen Woodsworth. The march started on the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery, went through downtown Vancouver, and ended in front of the Hudson’s Bay Company with "brilliant performance of the street theatre in which several of [her] friends were involved."

Cette manifestation a marqué le début d'une campagne qui a ensuite traversé le Canada sous le nom de Caravane de l'avortement. Elle s'est terminée par une grande manifestation à Ottawa.
