Le fonds Cécile Coderre témoigne de l’engagement de Cécile Coderre dans plusieurs associations vouées au développement communautaire et au bien-être des femmes, notamment des femmes francophones vivant en contexte minoritaire issues de la communauté franco-ontarienne. Le fonds contient des documents concernant le Réseau des chercheuses féministes de l’Ontario (RCFO) dont Cécile Coderre a été la présidente, la représentante à la Table Féministe Francophone de concertation provinciale de l’Ontario, et la gardienne des archives. Il contient des ressources documentaires sur la Fédération nationale des femmes canadiennes françaises (FNFCF) avec laquelle Cécile Coderre a beaucoup collaboré pour des projets de recherches. Le fonds comprend également des ressources documentaires sur des organismes tels que le Réseau national d’action éducation femmes (RNAÉF) dont Cécile Coderre a été la représentante provinciale pour l’Ontario. Le fonds offre également des ressources documentaires en liens avec différents organismes franco-ontariens visant à soutenir les femmes tels que l’Action ontarienne contre la violence faite aux femmes (AOcVF), l’Union culturelle des franco-ontarienne (UCFO), et le Réseau des femmes du sud de l’Ontario (RFSO).

This fonds consists of documents related to the work of Voice of Women/La voix des femmes in the late 1960s and early 1970s to protest against the chemical and biological warfare research being done at the military facility Defence Research Establishment in Suffield, Alberta.

The fonds contains press releases, clippings, articles correspondence and a speech. It also contains a type writer used by Voice of Women during that period.

This fonds consists of administrative records and resource materials produced and received as part of the various position occupied by Greta Hofmann Nemiroff, including her time as project manager of the CCLOW, president-elected at CWSA, educator and coordinator of New School at Dawson College, and incumbent of the joint chair in Women’s Studies program at the University of Ottawa, and Carleton University. This fonds contains mostly textual records, including correspondence, documents relating to conferences organization, mailing lists, booklets and pamphlets produced by the organization in which she was involved. This fonds offer an insight into the Great Hofmann Nemiroff involvement in women’s liberation movement in the 1980s and 1990s, mostly in the field of education.

Women's World Congress / Caroline Andrew fonds

The fonds consists of records related mainly to the organization and planning of the 2011 Women's World Congress held at the University of Ottawa, co-chaired by Professor Caroline Andrew. Records relate to funding and financial support, financial auditing, and planning and include meeting minutes, reports, correspondence etc. Included also are handouts from the congress, final reports and summary documents from after the congress was held. The fonds also contains some records related to prior and subsequent Women's World Congresses.

The Women’s Worlds congress was the first world-wide interdisciplinary gathering to focus on research pertaining to women’s issues and started in 1981. WW takes place every three years in a different part of the world.

The fonds consists of various materials related to Sylvia Spring's involvement as an activist, filmmaker, and conference speaker. It contains various types of textual, graphic, audio and video documents. It is divided into six series. The first series contains various material related to women’s issues. It includes posters, buttons, and stamps collections. The second series shows Sylvia Spring's various interventions in national and international conferences. The third series contains publications as comic books, dealing with topics related to women and the law, which texts were written by Sylvia Spring. The fourth series consists of records related to Sylvia Spring’s involvement to improve representation of women in the media. It reflects her implication in the MediaWatch organisation. The fifth series highlights Sylvia Spring’s films and productions as “Madeleine is…” (1969-1971), “Breaking the Silence. Stories from Aids Activists” (1996), “20th Century Gals (According to Babe)” (2000). It includes photographs of her meetings with different women filmmakers. The sixth series contains materials collected by Sylvia Spring on issues related to violence against women and includes Sylvia Spring’s documentaries on “Razor's Edge. The Controversy of Female Genital Mutilation” (2005) and “Our bodies… their battleground. Gender Based Violence During Conflict” (2004).
