The Lois Bédard fonds reflects Bédard’s advocacy for women’s rights, as well as her professional involvement in the women’s union organization, Organized Working Women. The fonds focusses on administrative records from Organized Working Women, including Lois Bédard’s correspondence and executive reports from her time serving on the organization executive council in the early 1980s, until her resignation as president, in 1986.
The fonds reflects Lois Bédard’s efforts to lobby government and organizations to promote women’s equality. The fonds includes briefs, petitions, letters to government, and notices promoting equal pay for work of equal value, as well as women's reproductive rights, and their right to universal day care.

This fonds documents Claudette MacKay-Lassonde's professional milestones in telecommunications and engineering, as well as her efforts to further women's career options in science, technology and engineering. The fonds contains administrative and publicity records from Claudette MacKay-Lassonde's organizing of Canada's First Canadian Convention of Women Engineers in Toronto, Ontario.
The fonds reflects Claudette MacKay-Lassonde's extensive efforts to promote engineering as a viable field for women. The fonds includes ephemera such as correspondence, photographs and scrapbooks representing Claudette MacKay-Lassonde's presidency of the Association of Professional Engineers Ontario and her bid for the Liberal Party seat of Mississauga South, Ontario.

The fonds contains significant administrative records from groups such as the University of Ottawa Chapter of the National Association of Women and the Law, the Ottawa Women’s Resource Group and the Ottawa Women’s Centre Association. The fonds includes pamphlets, advertisement and notices promoting these groups.
The fonds contains records resulting from Shirley E. Greenberg’s research into women’s legal equality, such as briefs submitted to government as well as news clippings and publications on family law, divorce and child custody. The fonds includes publications from women’s feminist collectives and publications devoted to radical feminism and socialist feminism, such as Hogtown Press. The bulk of the records date from 1972-1977.
