Canadian Women's Movement Archives (CWMA) fonds

This fonds consists of the administrative records of the Canadian Women's Movement Archives (CWMA) from its beginnings in the early 1970s as part of the Women's Information Centre (WIC) until its demise in 1992. It includes meeting minutes, for both CWMA and WIC, and administrative documents on human resources planning and day-to-day log books. It also contains financial documents such as accounting books and bank accounts, as well as correspondence and project/funding proposals. Also included are resources such as newspaper clippings and articles on various subjects, listed alphabetically, which were used as a reference by the members of CWMA.

The Toronto Wages For Housework Committee (WFH) fonds contains mostly textual documents, two posters and one group of photograph negatives. The National Action Committee on Status of Women (NAC) fonds reflects the everyday activities of Canada’s largest lobbying women’s group.
The fonds is structured in 11 series that document NAC’s creation, administrative activities, membership management and financial activities. The fonds is strong in meeting minutes, annual general meeting minutes, campaigns, subject files, correspondence, and personnel files. The records consist mostly of textual material as well as limited photographs, audiovisual material, and t-shirts.

The OISE fonds (1890-1996) reflects the research initiatives and resources of the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education. The fonds mainly consists of research material accrued by Pat Stanton for the book-length work: "Speak With Their Own Voices: A Documentary History of the Federation of Women Teachers’ Associations of Ontario and the Women Elementary Public School Teachers of Ontario." The material documents archival sources, as well as oral history interviews and questionnaires from retired teachers.

The fonds contains a limited amount of publications that were available within the OISE Women's Resource Centre. This material includes pamphlets and brochures for events and workshops, as well as educational kits that were developed for high school and college students.

This fonds contains mostly textual records, including correspondence, documents relating to conferences organization, mailing lists, booklets and pamphlets produced by the organization in which she was involved. This fonds offer an insight into the Great Hofmann Nemiroff involvement in women’s liberation movement in the 1980s and 1990s, mostly in the field of education.
