She was involved with METRAC and the records illustrate the interest she had in legal actions for women. The fonds contains records related to her political engagement against APEC (Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation), her commitment to the UNIFEM's International Campaign in 1993, the "Women Building Peace: From Village Council to the Negotiating Table" campaign in 1999, and her participation in the Voice of Women's Conference "Moving Forward: Women, Peace and Human Rights" held in 1992. It also contains her collection of articles, pamphlets and newspaper clippings on women's issues, mostly about legal actions and events in Canada, and violence against women.

It contains organizational documents such as founding documents, minutes of board meetings, documents related to board elections, annual reports and strategic plans, financial reports, documents related to recruitment and membership. The fonds contains correspondence and documentation related to the various committees, the annual conference, and the organization of special events (1995 Beijing World Conference on Women, 2002 Toronto International Meeting on Women and Health). The fonds documents the organization's interest in and support for research on women's conditions in Canada and internationally. Articles (CRIAW papers) and the publication (Feminist Perspectives) released by the organization are contained in the fonds. The fonds includes important documentary resources on the emerging debates in the 1980s and 1990s on the development of reproductive and genetic technologies and their effects on women.

This fonds consists of administrative records and resource materials produced and received as part of the various position occupied by Greta Hofmann Nemiroff, including her time as project manager of the CCLOW, president-elected at CWSA, educator and coordinator of New School at Dawson College, and incumbent of the joint chair in Women’s Studies program at the University of Ottawa, and Carleton University. This fonds contains mostly textual records, including correspondence, documents relating to conferences organization, mailing lists, booklets and pamphlets produced by the organization in which she was involved. This fonds offer an insight into the Great Hofmann Nemiroff involvement in women’s liberation movement in the 1980s and 1990s, mostly in the field of education.

The fonds contains only records from the original Victoria Rape Crisis Centre, also named the Victoria Rape Relief Society. It contains administrative records, correspondence, records related to education and telephone counselling activities, cooperation records with other external organisations, and regional rape crisis centres records.

It includes the administrative documents of the magazine such as minutes, reports, mailing lists, and guidelines for the organization. It also includes documents relating to editorial development, manuscript submissions and correspondence with authors, correspondence with other organizations and involvement in conferences and workshops. Sharon Batt, editor of Branching Out was also on the board of Canadian Periodical Publishers' Association and involved in the Writers' Guild of Alberta and so as a result some documents relating to these organizations are also included.
