Written by Mahnaz Afkhami and Haleh Vaziri, the manual was used during workshops beginning in 1996. It is intended "as an important catalyst for discussion an debate among women about their human rights priorities." The work was produced in multiple languages, including English, Arabic, Bengali, Russian, Hindi, Malay, Uzbek, Azerbaijani, and Urdu. [Only the English copy has been retained.]
