It contains correspondence books, account ledgers, membership lists, letters, notes, resolutions, statements, photocopied newspaper clippings and Grand Bazaar of the CSL's admission ticket, collection sheets for funds, meetings' minutes, presidents' messages, telegrams, lists, census documents, certificates, tables of content, a keynote address, announcements, budgets, Slovak League of America Congress' rights, the poem Rola ma vola, a plea on behalf of Slovak refugees or displaced persons, reports, receipts, a certification, posters of Slovak personalities Martin Rázus, Milan Rastislav Štefánik, Andrej Hlinka and Jozef Tiso and flags.

The fonds consists of records collected by Lisa Bengtsson during her career as a social development officer with the Thunder Bay branch of The Secretary of State, Women's Programme, and with the Northwestern Ontario Decade Council.

The records document the evolution of women's groups within Northwestern Ontario, from funding applications to articles of incorporation and brochures and pamphlets on annual programming.

The fonds contains an extensive amount of administrative records demonstrating the everyday operations of committees, subcommittees, and women's organizations, including the Northwestern Ontario Regional Day Care committee.

The fonds includes pamphlets, advertisement and notices promoting these groups.

The fonds contains records resulting from Shirley E. Greenberg’s research into women’s legal equality, such as briefs submitted to government as well as news clippings and publications on family law, divorce and child custody. The fonds includes publications from women’s feminist collectives and publications devoted to radical feminism and socialist feminism, such as Hogtown Press. The bulk of the records date from 1972-1977.
