The Women's International League for Peace and Freedom: Ontario Branches fonds contains the records of the organization’s Ottawa and Toronto branches, dating predominantly from the late 1970s-early 2000s. The fonds contains administrative and project records and includes branch governance records, reflective of efforts to establish an official WILPF Canada Section.

The fonds especially documents the branches’ coordinated actions at local and international levels to further the 1980s’ disarmament movement, including its involvement in the STAR (Stop the Arms Race) Campaign and campaigns to cease NATO flight testing over Innu territory, as well as other coordinated marches and rallies. The fonds’ administrative series reflects WILPF’s reporting relationships to international headquarters as well as its affiliation with local peace organizations. The fonds includes records from International Congresses and correspondence with other WILPF sections and branches.
