The fonds documents the general organization of the publishing press and activities of its different collectives. It contains manuscripts of published texts with records related to the selection, illustration, edition, and publication process. It also includes some unpublished manuscripts with related correspondence. The fonds contains also financial records and documents the distribution process. To promote women authors and their literary works, the publishing house participated in various book fairs and conferences. The press also produced catalogues, press releases, flyers, and posters, preserved in the fonds. The last series consists of Maureen FitzGerald's records. They concern the period when Maureen FitzGerald worked as managing editor of the Women's Press.

Il contient des documents organisationnels tels que des documents constitutifs, les procès-verbaux des réunions du conseil d’administration, les documents reliés aux élections du conseil d’administration, les rapports annuels et les plans stratégiques, les rapports financiers, des documents reliés au recrutement et à l’adhésion de ses membres. Le fonds contient également de la correspondance, de la documentation reliées aux différents comités, à la conférence annuelle, mais également à l’organisation d’évènements spéciaux (Conférence mondiale sur les femmes de Beijing en 1995, rencontre internationale sur les femmes et la santé de Toronto en 2002). Le fonds documente également l’intérêt et le soutien de l’organisation pour la recherche sur les conditions des femmes au Canada et sur la scène internationale. Les articles (CRIAW papers) et la revue (Feminist Perspectives) publiées par l’organisation sont contenus dans le fonds. Le fonds comprend également d’importantes ressources documentaires sur les réflexions émergeantes dans les années 80 et 90 sur le développement des technologies reproductives et génétiques et leurs effets sur les femmes.

The fonds includes records produced or collected by the organization between the late 1970s and the 2000s. It contains organizational documents such as founding documents, minutes of board meetings, documents related to board elections, annual reports and strategic plans, financial reports, documents related to recruitment and membership. The fonds contains correspondence and documentation related to the various committees, the annual conference, and the organization of special events (1995 Beijing World Conference on Women, 2002 Toronto International Meeting on Women and Health). The fonds documents the organization's interest in and support for research on women's conditions in Canada and internationally. Articles (CRIAW papers) and the publication (Feminist Perspectives) released by the organization are contained in the fonds. The fonds includes important documentary resources on the emerging debates in the 1980s and 1990s on the development of reproductive and genetic technologies and their effects on women.
The collection consists largely of textual material, but includes photographs of various internal events, and of events in which the organization has participated.

This fonds consists of the administrative records of the conception of the Service Office Retail Workers Union of Canada (SORWUC) Local 7 in Ottawa from its beginnings in 1982 as part of reason for change particularly addressing inequality faced by women in the workplace in various aspects. It features correspondence, advertisements to join the union, pieces of bargaining and negotiation, member contact information. Also included are resources such as newspaper clippings, pamphlets, booklets, buttons, and articles on various subjects as used and promoted by members of SORWUC.

This fonds contains records in various formats; including original organizational records, posters, buttons, t-shirts, flyers, publications, etc., from more than 2,000 Canadian women’s organizations, conferences and individuals. The records date from 1960 up until the mid-1990s and were collected by the Collective of the Canadian Women's Movement Archives.

This fonds contains documents related to Myrna Wood's activities within women unions in Ontario, especially in Hamilton. It documents her interest in subjects like occupation health and security, women's issues at work, and abortion rights and consists of records relating to her activities in Toronto, Montreal and New York. It includes the essay she co-wrote "Sisters, Brothers, Lovers... listen" for the final conference of SUPA (Student Union for Peace Action) in 1967. It also contains the essay "Bread and Roses" written with Kathy McAfee calling for a movement to organize working-class women. This fonds highlights Myrna Wood's participation in peace movement meetings with the Vietnamese National Liberation Front in Cuba and gives insight into her involvement in the women liberation movement at the end of the 1960s and beginning of the 1970s.

L’ensemble des documents représente de nombreux courants littéraires dont le romantisme, le réalisme, le symbolisme et le surréalisme.

This fonds consists of documents relating to the Business and Professional Women's Club of Ottawa (BPWCO)'s administration, committees, finances, events such as Biennial Conventions, Annual Provincial Conferences, programs and workshops, views on various women's issues such as minimum wage, equality and abortion. It contains mostly textual material such as correspondence, speeches, procedures, publications, reports, budgets, and newspaper clippings, in addition to some photographs and certificates.
