This series consists mostly of newspapers, journals and magazines published by women’s groups and collectives such as “Windsor Woman,” “Montreal Health Press,” “New England Free Press” and “Vancouver Women's Caucus.” The publications include “Pedestal,” “The Other Woman,” and “The New Feminist.” The series is focussed on 1960-1973.
This series contains professional engineering journals and magazines, as well as copies of articles pertaining to women’s achievements in engineering, focussed within the 1980s and early- to mid-1990s. The series also contains Claudette MacKay-Lassonde's chairperson messages within the Indicator Journal and articles documenting Claudette MacKay-Lassonde’s awards and accomplishments.
This series documents NAC's fiscal activities, such as budgets, Women's Program grant applications and bilingualism development records. The series includes finance committee meeting records as well as NAC's Direct Mail program and its campaign against federal budget cuts to the Women's Program.
This series contains correspondence between NAC and the Secretary of State and with provincial governments. The correspondence pertains to funding and to NAC's lobbying efforts to facilitate women's equal rights, including NAC's response to federal bills and legislation.
