The Toronto Branch: Administrative records series documents the organization’s administrative activities during two separate phases of its operations, between 198-1989 and 1996-2006. The series contains minutes of meetings as well as correspondence generated from its letter-writing campaigns, relating to pacifism and nuclear disarmament. Restrictions apply to correspondence with identifiable personal information.
The series consists of records of the NAWL Charitable Trust . The Trust, as a registered charity, was established in 1983 to complement NAWL’s advocacy work. It's mandate includes undertaking research and education on legal issues concerning all aspects of the social, economic and political life of Canadian women. It assists in the protection of women’s civil rights and liberties by charitable means, as well as in the relief of poverty. Records in this series include trust meeting minutes, memos, correspondence, trustee lists, etc.
