This series consists of NAC's outgoing and received correspondence, originally filed as "Journals," by NAC. The correspondence includes both received and outgoing letters, communiqués, newsletters, reports, telegrams and government press releases.
The records relate to a range of issues, such as the Canada-United States Free Trade Agreement, the Meech Lake Accord, initiatives against domestic violence, anti-pornography legislation, the disarmament movement, Indigenous communities' organizations, gun control legislation and cutbacks in funding to the Women's Programme.
