This subseries consists of records related to the WISE University of Ottawa Student Branch. The original focus of the Ottawa Chapter was professional women in engineering and science, although student members also participated. By September 1998, two student branches were established at the local universities, the University of Ottawa and Carleton University. This new initiative aimed to produce a program for the student members on issues that would benefit them the most. Student members maintain their connection with the Chapter by receiving the Chapter’s newsletter, and often attend their events. The records gave a highlight on the first year of the University of Ottawa Student Branch. This sub-series provides information on the organization, its finances, membership, activities, industrial tours, and partner organizations.
