The resources that were gathered to create the Women's Kit later were used as material for the OISE Women's Resource Centre.

Scope and content

This series consists of 5 women's kits: created primarily by Pamela Harris, for the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education (OISE), beginning in 1972. The kits were created for use in Ontario high schools and community colleges.

The kits were intended to introduce students to events and figures within the women's movement and to challenge negative stereotypes of women. The kits were also presented in OISE workshops for future teachers.
