Fonds consists of correspondence, financial accounts, programs of annual meetings, minutes of provincial Canadian Association of Pathologists (CAP) meetings, and records of the Canadian Society of Cytologists. Photographs depict past presidents of the CAP.

Biography/Administrative History: 

The Canadian Association of Pathologists (CAP) was founded to advance those medical sciences primarily concerned with the cause, nature and effect of disease. Consisting of individuals who have graduated in medicine or laboratory sciences especially in the field of pathology and allied sciences, this national association promotes the interests of pathologists and allied scientists in Canada. It also maintains laboratory standards, trains technicians, sponsors conferences and publishes a newsletter.
