Canadian Council of Professional Engineers and Scientists fonds
Fonds consists of minutes, annual reports, committee reports, correspondence, memoranda, news bulletins and a brochure.
The Canadian Council of Professional Engineers and Scientists grew out of discussions and meetings of the Dominion Council of Professional Engineers in 1941. The first organizational meeting was held in 1943 and the first Council meeting took place in 1945. The Council was set up to provide collaboration between technical and professional bodies. It functioned as a lobby on matters of national importance to its members. The Council was disbanded in 1949.
