GIS Scholarships

Educating Tomorrow’s Leaders
2020 ESRI Canada Student Scholarship
Submission Deadline: Friday, March 27, 2020

ESRI Canada with the help of the Geographic, Statistical and Government Information Centre (GSG) would like to recognize a student using ArcGIS technologies at the University of Ottawa. This scholarship will encourage the student to pursue studies and a potential career in GIS.

Requirements

  • A poster 24 in (w) by 36 in (h) OR an ArcGIS Online Web App* demonstrating a special project, lab work, or research using ArcGIS software
  • Copy of your academic transcript (minimum B+ average)
  • Your resume/CV

* The winner will be required to submit a poster and a summary report (max 1,000 words) to ESRI Canada to receive their prize

Scholarship Award

  • A one-time payment of $1,500
  • ESRI software (ArcGIS personal license)
  • Books
  • Training (in-class and online)
  • Networking Opportunities
