Information

We currently do not have any upcoming workshops planned, but we are happy to meet with you, individually or with your small-group, to tailor a session for your needs. Get in touch with the librarian for your program or research area.

BiblioGrad in Arts and Humanities on demand

BiblioGrad in Arts and Humanities workshops can be requested by faculty, teaching assistants, and students (minimum 5 students are required to request a workshop).

To request a workshop, fill out the form and indicate which workshop you would like us to give. Responses to workshop requests will occur within 48 hours.

Two workshops are available on demand:

 

Mastering MLA Citation Style

  • Learn how to format your papers using MLA style 8th edition. Topics will include an overview of the required elements for in-text citations and works cited lists as well as the techniques to acknowledge your sources in your papers, namely the summary, the paraphrase, and the direct quote. The session will also include a brief presentation of Zotero, a free tool that helps you organize and cite your sources in MLA or many other citation styles.

  • Learn how to format your papers using Chicago-Style.
