Research data management

Why manage research data

Why managing your research data is important, including conforming to funder policy requirements.

Where should I publish my data?

Many publishers and granting agencies are asking authors and grant holders to make the data underlying their published research and intellectual products publicly accessible. COVID-19 Rapid Response Funding serves as an example.

What is a Data Management Plan (DMP)?

Every good project begins with a plan. Planning for data management involves the active organization and maintenance of data throughout the research process, and suitable storage, disposition, or sharing of the data at the project’s completion.

Training and Events

The Library offers training, events and customized workshops on Research Data Management. Making Research Data Public: Workshopping Data Curation for Digital Humanities projects took place online May 21 and 28, 2021.
