Roberto Fiorentini Ph.D History, University of Pavia, currently collaborates on several research projects with a series of foreign research institutions in Rome. The author of several articles, he works on the dynamics of pontifical and curial social life and power at the end of the seventeenth century. He has been the archival researcher for the project since its inception.

Project Team
James W. Nelson Novoa is assistant professor of Modern Languages and Literatures and Medieval and Renaissance Studies at the University of Ottawa. He works on Iberian and Italian cultural relations during the early modern period and in particular on the Portuguese New Christian or converso diaspora in Italy in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. He has directed the project since 2017.
Ryan Cormier, Undergraduate student under the tutelage James W. Nelson Novoa, University of Ottawa, responsible for interpreting and migrating data provided by Roberto Fiorentini Ph.D onto Omeka and Neatline. A collaborator of the project since 2018, as part of a University of Ottawa UROP (Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program) grant.
Roxanne Lafleur, Library and Audiovisual Support Specialist, University of Ottawa Library, provides Omeka, Neatline and cataloguing training and assistance, and contributed in the metadata formating choices, particularly in the case of persons for this project.
